It is a kindergarten where the individual child is a part of a community but also has the possibility to be alone or have a break. The project for Forfatterhuset Kindergarten is the result of an invited competition and a collaboration between LETH & GORI and architecture firm EMA. The starting point for the project is two large trees that inhabit the site. The building embraces these trees and integrates them in the design of the building.

Forfatterhuset åbnede i februar 2012, som børneinstitution i "De Gamles By" på indre Nørrebro. Vi startede op som vuggestue for 120 børn i midlertidige pavilloner. I juli 2014 flyttede vi ind i vores nye fantastiske børnehus på Edith Rodes Vej 2, og blev en integreret institution.
